One-Point Grammar Patterns

One-Point Grammar patterns help me keep my grammar explanations on point. Sometimes we teachers fall into the trap of giving long-winded explanations of sentences instead of just teaching the patterns. We’ve all done it. The key to helping students get those patterns down is to KISS: Keep, It, Short, and Simple. Of course, that’s easier to say than do.

I’ll be adding more of these cards over time and will separate them into their own galleries once there are enough to necessitate doing that. In the mean time, what patterns would you like to see here?
Let me know.
